What does the Washington Post's leak about Zelensky tell us, are the Americans now choreographing the end of the war? - was raised in the joint news background program of M1 and hirado.hu, 48 minutes - Hosted by Tamás Lánczi on Thursday evening, the participants of which were lawyer András Schiffer and Sámuel Ágoston Mráz, head of the Nézőpont Institute.

It has become clear that the United States is also eavesdropping on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky - Sámuel Ágoston Mráz commented that the Washington Post newspaper recently wrote about Zelensky's suggestion during a conversation that the Friendship oil pipeline should be blown up in order to bring Hungary to its knees.

According to the head of the Nézőpont Institute, the explanation for this may be that there are circles that want to pit Hungary and Ukraine against each other, even though there is currently a delicate modus vivendi between the two governments, according to which Hungary provides all humanitarian aid and stands up for the inviolability of Ukraine's sovereignty, but supports the conclusion of peace as soon as possible. Certain circles may not like this - Mráz opined.

András Schiffer noted:

it is advisable to treat it with moderation in a war situation, if such sentences are heard somewhere. The former LMP politician argued that there were two reasons for the Washington Post leak. According to Schiffer, serious forces were moving even before Putin's aggression in order to incite tension between the majority Ukrainian nation and the Transcarpathian Hungarians. But he noted that the American paper's article may have a different message, which the Transcarpathian Hungarians have little to do with. Namely, that powerful interests now want to end the war,

and if they want to choreograph this, then such a leak from the president does not look bad.

According to Mráz, the latter thesis is supported by the fact that the article was published just when Zelenskiy was on a European tour to gain supporters.
