Forests already appear in the first pages of the Bible. Forests tell us about the cycle of life, raise our gaze beyond the canopy and make us think mystically. Just like saving a single believer, planting a single tree has an impact on our lives and our environment. A number of interesting questions will be discussed at the Forest Management Conference in Budapest on June 6.

Since the last law on forests was passed in 2017, Andréka Tamás, the State Secretary of the AM , talks about the review of the regulation on state forests and its possible minor amendments Péter Zambo, the Secretary of State responsible for forests and land affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture, also talks about the current state of state forests.

The rector of the University of Sopron, Attila Fábián, shares his thoughts on the reform of forestry education are also discussed . Even during the Covid period, we gained a lot of experience about the role of forests and the diversity of ecological services provided to people, and we must also utilize these.

Among other things, the contribution entitled: Trianon's influence on the history of forestry vocational training will be interesting.

In the afternoon, the participants can ask their questions and express their opinions about what they heard during the day in an open dialogue
