Dr. Attila Lengyel ny. associate professor, president of the CÖF Club Miskolc,

Ágoston Kováts, editor-in-chief of the Miskolc utcáin online platform, moderator of the discussion.
If we were interested in the question in the title of our meeting, "what makes the right side the right side", many would surely answer that the name comes from the time of the great French Revolution, because in the National Convention the royalists sat to the right of the president, and the supporters of the revolution to the left.
Of course, the question is not interested in the place occupied in the parliamentary horseshoe, but in the fundamentals of the represented philosophy. For the basic principles that define the meaning of human social existence and the rules of coexistence. According to the most general approach, the right side sees the universe as an absolute (the highest order being), which is independent of everything and everything depends on it. Consequently, everything, including man, is relative and subordinate in comparison.
On the contrary, according to the left, man is the absolute, as endowed with reason and everything else is relative. Consequently, the dominant worldview of leftists is to "live well" because it "works for me".
The right-wing is usually characterized by adherence to the existing political, social, and religious moral order. It starts from respect for tradition and authority, and its approach is characterized by a social perception based on history or religion. In culture, it follows traditions and accepts major social differences.
In politics, the right represents conservatism, typically with a strong religious orientation (Christian faith in our case), an unquestionable sense of nationalism, and consequently putting national sovereignty before everything else.
In the countries of the former Soviet bloc, the so-called after the change of regime, by rejecting reprivatization and handing over the economy to Western predatory capital, they created a loss of value and unemployment, to deal with which the right-wing political forces advocated a strong state role and other traditional conservative values - the strong role of the Christian churches, the nurturing and strong emphasis on national traditions, favoring local businesses over foreigners, maintaining the importance of agriculture (the "land") and keeping its ownership in local hands, nurturing the role of the mother tongue - by keeping it.
It is unfortunate that, in order to retain or regain power, the political left has made the rejection of right-wing values almost the only element of its strategy. This is especially true for the domestic left, whose openly committed backbone of the EU's activities is the condemnation of our country in all bodies of the union, in order to prevent the EU funds that are rightfully due to our country from being paid, thereby reducing the support of the reigning national government.
He does this despite the fact that the voters of the national side see it as treason. Of course, the Trianon decree is profoundly rejected by the national side, but the consciousness of "one nation" makes this community even stronger.
With the help of the three ideas of community, tradition, freedom, the volume entitled "Tihany right-wing: community, tradition, freedom" brings you closer to the essence of the Hungarian right-wing philosophy. It provides a conservative answer to the most important challenges affecting our country.
It summarizes the current issues of our nation's destiny and draws attention to the role of communities.
He warns: culture is not to be seen, but to be done!
- On June 8, from 5:30 p.m., we welcome all interested parties in Miskolc, at the House of Science and Technology.
