Many of us have a childhood favorite on an occasional stamp block.
Because as part of the Fairytale Heroes stamp series, TV Maci issued a series-numbered occasional stamp block in cooperation with Magyar Posta and the Media Support and Wealth Management Fund (MTVA).
Dániel Papp, CEO of the MTVA, highlighted at Thursday's stamp block issuing ceremony in Budapest: Magyar Posta and MTVA have been cooperating continuously since 2019, which will continue in the future.
Speaking of the stamp block issue, TV Maci, which is 60 years old this year, is not only a hallmark of public media, but a national treasure, a real Hungarian treasure, he added.
The stamp block was produced in 50,000 copies at Pénzjegynyomda Zrt. according to the plans of the graphic artist István Weisenburger. The stamp block features the creations of writer Ágnes Bálint and puppet designer Ottó Foky, the figures of TV Maci and Paprika Jancsi, each with a characteristic life picture.
