Veteran national guard Pál Lakatos, a former teacher at the Váradi József Primary School in Sepsiszentgyörgy, was greeted by the city administration on his 101st birthday at his home on Friday.
"I worked a lot, I did what I knew - says Uncle Pali Lakatos, veteran veteran, former teacher of József Váradi Primary School, whom we welcomed to his home today on the occasion of his 101st birthday.
Even at the age of 101, Uncle Pali goes out to his garden every day and is happy when his plants grow even an inch. I think we could learn from him to be happy with everything we have.
May the good God give him a long life in strength and health among his loved ones!" Árpád Antal, mayor of Sepsiszentgyörgy, writes on Facebook.
