The 81-year-old Harrison Ford has no plans to retire, but he also talked about the fact that he played Indiana Jones for the last time in the "Indiana Jones and the Disc of Fate" , which will be shown in Hungarian cinemas from next week, the Hollywood news portal deadline.com reported on Sunday.
The actor, who has already become a legend in the role of Han Solo, told CNN that he has no intention of giving up acting because he doesn't feel good without work.
"I like to work. I like to feel useful"
he said.
As he added, as a film actor, he likes working together with others, "the intensity and intimacy of the collaboration" the most.
the Total Film magazine about his main role in Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fate, which will be shown in Hungarian cinemas from Wednesday:
“I am playing this role for the last time. This is expected to be the last time the character (Indiana Jones) appears on the screen.”
The two-and-a-half-hour production directed by James Mangold also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas and John Rhys-Davies.
The world premiere of the adventure film was held at the Cannes Film Festival in May. The festival honored Harrison Ford with an honorary Palme d'Or award.
