Europe is in the crosshairs of attacks, nowadays the global private powers have taken the leadership of the European Union hostage in a political sense, which does not represent European interests in the outside world, but the interests of private powers vis-a-vis the European member states and their population - said László Kövér, President of the Parliament of the Hungarian Reformed Church Synod on Friday in Budapest.
According to his assessment, what is happening in Europe and with Europe in the financial, economic and energy fields is nothing more than preparation for the material robbery of Europe, the channeling and pumping out of European human, natural and economic resources for interests outside Europe.
the "spiritual obsession raging on our continent" is the means of spiritually robbing Europe, if this plan succeeds, then the European middle class that maintains European democracy may collapse in moments, and the European system of parliamentary democracy will collapse with it. Social anarchy and violent political extremism can gain ground everywhere, and at some point in the coming decades, with the false promise and slogans of order, the private power technological dictatorship may arrive in the world of our children and grandchildren, which in every sense intends for Europe to play the role of a subjugated servant in the Western world
he warned.
In his celebratory speech, he drew a parallel with the Szárszó meeting organized by the Soli Deo Gloria Association of Hungarian Reformed students in August 1943 and believed that the two periods are connected by the eerily similar world political conditions.
Today, the world is once again facing a reorganization of power, the means of which is once again a war raging on the soil of Europe, in our neighborhood. A war that has already turned into a "senseless world war" in economic terms and could turn into a worldwide nuclear war at any moment, he said.
He added:
today it is not foreign occupation, but something else that threatens us, something that can be called "alien obsession".
The "identity terrorism" taking place in the Western world today is such an obsession, he declared, adding: "the other day's news about a man winning a European beauty queen election" is the most alarming example of this.
According to his assessment, wars and assassinations with socio-psychological, economic and political means against nations and nation-states, Christian churches, and families based on the union of love between men and women also indicate such an obsession. In this circle, he included the incitement of white and black people with various movements, the conscious and organized incitement of Christians and Muslims, as well as "methodical resettlement efforts disguised as illegal migration to replace the population of Europe" . The Speaker of the House judged the fatal indebtedness and usury of Europe through the instigation of European wars, the liquidation of fatally indebted European national states in accordance with creditor interests, and the effort to create a new entity, the United States of Europe, which was hoped to be creditworthy, i.e. able to be looted again, also as such an obsession.
It is the joint responsibility of our days and the times ahead, the joint task of church and secular leaders, to "not allow the homeland and the nation to be carried away by any kind of world political price wave". Let's help Hungarians to preserve themselves, to keep "foreign obsession" away from them, and by no means fall prey to it !
he said.
He warned that the realignment of world power that we are "on the threshold of" is not about which eastern or western state or group of states will rule the world in the future.
The real stake is whether, in the western and eastern half of the world, the states - as public authorities called to serve the public good and the public interest - fall short of all kinds of democratic control, representing ever greater financial and economic power, gaining ever greater political influence - and slowly also against private powers outside of all kinds of jurisdiction.
Or they are able to restore the balance of power that previously existed between them, which has broken down in the past three decades due to the concentration of capital, information and technology in favor of private powers, he explained.
He highlighted:
the realignment of world power is at stake, whether in the future billions of people, living within the framework of democratic public power, can still have a say in the development of their destiny with their votes, or whether they will become subjects of the "technological dictatorship of the ruling system" developed by the global network of private powers.
He also touched on the fact that, according to the Hungarian Reformed National Strategy of the Carpathian Basin, the most important common task of the Hungarian Reformed Church is to strengthen the church's "internal intellectual and spiritual defenses". This is the most important service in the church, at school, in the family, in public life, in all areas of life. In order to win the future "before us, the Reformed people", church building is necessary above all, he emphasized.
Zoltán Balog, the pastor president of the Synod of the Hungarian Reformed Church, highlighted:
it requires straight talk, which is extremely rare these days.
Straight talk is about being able to call reality, truth by its name. Calling the truth by its name is a matter of life, a matter of life and death, he said.
The Reformed bishop said: the Hungarian Reformed people are not doing badly with their straight talk, "although they could be doing better".
A decision must be made in favor of the truth, which is always a decision against falsehood, he emphasized. He also touched on the fact that the threat to the Christian and Reformed life has been and continues to be experienced again and again, and anyone who would doubt this just needs to cross the Ukrainian border.
