Red Bull driver Max Verstappen did not have long to enjoy the wonderful Herend trophy he received for his victory on the Mogyoród race track.

It hurt to watch what happened on the podium at the end of the results announcement of the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix. McLaren's Lando Norris, as usual, smashed the bottle of champagne to celebrate his second podium in a row, but as he did so, Red Bull's Max Verstappen's victory vase tumbled from the top of the podium.

Made by the Herend Porcelánmanufaktúra, based on a unique design, by hand, with 18-carat gold decoration - so that the winner can only hold it in his hands when he receives it.

Verstappen took off the podium in two pieces, the work with an idea value of HUF 15 million, and then he learned from Norris that he basically owes it to himself...

"Er... Max just put it too close to the edge," excused the McLaren driver. "I don't even know, I think he was lurking. It's not my problem, it's his!"

Verstappen did not leave the matter at that, and in the interview zone he held his friend accountable for the assassination. “You said it was my fault?! I'm giving you a red card!" said the defending champion.

Anyway, there was no sign of tension between the two competitors after what happened. And McLaren apologized to the rival. "We are so very sorry... Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen," they wrote on their social media site with not entirely convincing honesty...
