Because of migration, they are afraid of the Hungarian presidency in Brussels - this is clear from the interview that a member of the Dutch advisory board working for the European Union (EU) gave to Klubrádio. The politician said: In Brussels, they are afraid that if Hungary becomes president in a row, the migration policy of the EU will be stuck and the distribution of migrants according to quotas will continue to slide. Viktor Orbán previously said: he is fighting the quotas hand, foot, tooth and nail.

One by one, African migrants disembark from the Spanish Coast Guard ship in the Canary Islands. This year alone, more than seven thousand people came to the tourist paradise.

According to the latest Brussels plans, the mass arrivals of migrants would again be distributed among all member states based on quotas. The idea would oblige Hungary to house illegal immigrants in open reception centers – creating Europe's largest migrant ghetto. However, the Hungarian government is determined not to implement this plan.

This opinion may be behind the intention in Brussels that next year Hungary will not be president of the EU.

– this is revealed from the interview given to Klubrádio by a member of the Dutch advisory board working alongside the EU.

John Morijn, professor of law at the University of Groningen, as a member of the Meijers Committee, said: In Brussels, they are afraid that the EU's migration policy will get stuck under the successive Hungarian presidency and that the distribution of migrants according to quotas, for example, will continue to slide.

"We cannot trust that he will not take the regulation in the exact opposite direction as it would be in the interest of Brussels. It is feared that Hungary has its own interests in mind, not the interests of the community. Can the council and the committee and the parliament afford to stop migration matters completely for six months?”

- said John Morij, a member of the Meijers Commission, an advisory board working alongside the EU

In other words, the Dutchman John Morijn told Klubrádio what could only be guessed until now: they are afraid of the Hungarian presidency in Brussels because of migration.

The Hungarian government rejected the quota proposal from the beginning. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated earlier: our country will fight against migrant ghettos and mandatory migrant quotas, and Hungary will not implement the EU's migration decisions.

The Hungarian government has repeated several times: it has a working idea of how the influx of migrants should be curbed. György Bakondi put it this way: migrants simply should not be allowed in.

"We believe that if we closed these channels, there would be no way for illegal entry, then illegal migration itself would soon end"

- said György Bakondi, the prime minister's chief adviser on internal security.

And these organized criminal gangs have now reached enormous proportions. Interpol announced on Monday that, together with Europol, it had dismantled a human trafficking network spanning several continents in Serbia, which smuggled more than five thousand illegal migrants from Cuba to the European Union through Serbia. The Cubans had to pay 9,000 euros per person, i.e. 3.5 million forints, for the trip and the false documents. The illegal migrants were then smuggled to Greece and then to Spain.
