On Friday, August 11, the National Assembly of Hungarians (MOGY) began in the Ópusztaszer National Historical Memorial Park.
The organizers expect more participants than ever before: the three-day meeting will take place with the participation of fourteen partner organizations, thirty-nine guest communities and eight hundred and fifty volunteers. In addition to the memorial park's exhibitions, artists, traditionalists, and experts present themselves with almost two hundred programs. One hundred craftsmen will be present at the three-day meeting with their own items.
The organizers also emphasized that they received a lot of offers this year as well: who helped the event with fruit, who with money, who with expertise and work.
Many programs related to historical events await visitors, where young people can learn about Hungarian culture and folk costumes, as well as the traditional Hungarian martial art, the baranta.
