Márta Sebestyén celebrates her 67th birthday today, who has been under the spell of music since birth, also through her mother, a music teacher; The former student of Zoltán Kodály was born on August 19, 1957 in Budapest.
She was particularly captivated by the world of folk songs, and her talent was noticed when she was a little girl. He is now a world-famous artist who performs in the most prestigious concert halls.
He is one of the few Hungarian performers who represents the traditional Hungarian culture at home and around the world without changes, bringing to life in his concerts the almost forgotten folk song tradition collected by Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály. His talent, trained organ and magical being made him an original phenomenon.
There is almost no country where Márta Sebestyén has not represented Hungarian culture, either solo or with her fellow musicians.
He sang in front of the Japanese emperor, but the Spanish king and the British ruler also got to know the songs of the Hungarian people through him. He is a true cultural ambassador for his country.
