One thousand five hundred servings of fish juice will be made from five hundred kilograms of fish at the Csárdafestival in the huge cauldrons of the Szeged Fisherman's Csárda, the organizers announced on Sunday.

"At the St. Stephen's Day event series featuring the most popular flavors of the Carpathian Basin, the special gastronomic attractions meet each other: in addition to the stew simmering in the huge cauldron and the roasts made in the show oven, one of the audience favorites is the goose skinner of the Udvaros Csárda, which is baked from 400 kilograms of fat and served with 330 kilograms of artisan bread during the holiday for gourmet festival-goers"

- wrote the organizers.

At the event, where visitors can enjoy the offerings of the country's most popular inns, musical programs will also entertain those interested. The performers include the Felvidéki Citera Band, Kalina Enikő and Péter Dócs, the Szilvási Gipsy Band, Lajos Sárközy Jr. and his band, and Sándor Buday and his band. The performances of the Jászság Folk Ensemble and the Vadrózsa Dance Ensemble invite the audience to dance.
