The fate of the Transcarpathian Hungarian community was also discussed at the meeting between the two presidents in Kyiv.
Important agreements were reached during the face-to-face meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Katalin Novák's Facebook post revealed.
Among other things, the two countries are setting up a direct presidential communication channel, through which the presidents can contact each other immediately.
The relations between the two countries will also be fixed in a new document, the preparation of which was started after the consultation.
In relation to the war and the war situation, Hungary has put further help in perspective, so the issue of children affected by the war and the peace formula initiated by the Ukrainian president, in whose negotiations Hungary also wants to be involved, came up during the negotiations.
Last but not least, the minority rights of Transcarpathian Hungarians were also discussed, in relation to which, according to a post published on the website of the President of the Republic, Katalin Novák, progress will be made as soon as possible.
In connection with the visit of Katalin Novák, the President of Ukraine also spoke, who expressed his joy about the visit in a post published on Twitter:
