Ferencváros reached the group stage of the football Conference League: the Hungarian champions won 3-0 against Lithuanian Zalgiris Vilnius in the second leg of the fourth qualifying round on Thursday, thus advancing with a double victory.
Ferencváros reached the main table of a European cup series for the fifth season in a row: in 2020, the Champions League, and in 2019, 2021 and last year, the green and white team played football in the main table of the Europa League. That is why, after the early BL qualifier farewell - KÍ Klaksvík from the Faroe Islands surprised the Hungarian champions by eliminating them - it was a clear goal to meet at least in the third series, the Conference League, for the autumn continuation.
The draw for the group stage will be held on Friday from 14:30 in Monte-Carlo.
