The popular songs of 75-year-old Gábor Presser's career are released on Hungarot in a five-disc oeuvre series. In addition to Omega and LGT tracks, the publications also select from theater works and compositions written for other performers.

The Kossuth Prize-winning composer and performer played in Omega (1967-1971), then founded Locomotiv GT, which existed until Tamás Somló's death in 2016. Author of successful musicals (Imagined report on an American pop festival; A padlás) and soundtracks (Ripacsok), who, in addition to his solo albums, wrote records for Kati Kovács, Zorán, Klári Katona, Magdi Rúzsa and Marian Falusi, among others.

    Gábor Presser's works as authors and performers were published by Hungaroton from 1967 to 1993, the 5-CD series, which will be released until September 29, is a selection from these recordings.

The first disc, which is already available, features songs written by Gábor Presser in the band Omega. Among others, the CD features Petrol Lamp, Ha én gyut özéra, Régi chibészek, Ten Thousand Steps or Pearl-Haired Girl.

The first piece of the two-part LGT compilation is also available, the second will be released next week. Among the LGT songs, you can hear, for example, "Ringasd el magad"; the Silver Summer; the Tell Me When I Sing Loud; I write the song for you; the Everyone; The Little, the Great, the Arthur and the Indian; a We are good friends; a Everyone does it differently; The radio; I don't give up; Boxing; the Inhuman song; the Musical Train; or I'm out, I'm in too.

Gábor Presser is also the music director of the Vígszínház. On the fourth and fifth albums of the series, which will be released on September 22 and 29, you can hear, among others, the theatrical hits Zületésnapodra, Lie something beautiful, Szilvásgombóc, Fényév tászág, and from the list of songs written for others, Mikór nadílí a voat (Demjén performed by Ferenc), Rock and roller (Kati Kovács), My father believed (Zorán), Tell me, little mess (László Komár), Miért ne? (Klári Katona), Egyedül nem go (András Kern and Dezső Garas), I didn't know how it hurts (Sándor Révész), I just put my heart in front of you (Gyula Vikidál), and among his own solo compositions, La Baletta No. 2 .

    The oeuvre series, consisting of five CDs, will be released individually, and will later be available in a gift box as well.

Gábor Presser will perform at the Sportarena on September 30 and October 1 under the title Meg 1+1, and his new musical play, Pinocchio, will debut at the Vígszínház in December.
