The youngest candidate of the Alliance party, István Mácsadi, apologizes on behalf of himself and his party for not having an independent representation of the interests of the Hungarians in the highlands.
"Forgive me, upland Hungarians!
Two weeks have passed since the elections, and not even one of the prominent politicians has thought of apologizing to the half-million Hungarians in the highlands for not having an independent representation of their interests in the Bratislava parliament.
First of all, I would like to apologize on behalf of myself, and secondly, on behalf of our party, to the 130,000 people who believed and trusted us.
Second, I would like to apologize to those who exercised their right to vote, but were forced to cast their vote for the Slovak party due to the party's miscommunication.
And thirdly, I also apologize to those who voted with their feet, whom we could not contact.
Forgive me, let's work together on a new tomorrow!"
