In their report submitted to the National Security Committee, the secret services write about facts and serious consequences resulting from migration, which all Hungarians should be familiar with.

Migration pressure is constantly increasing in the southern part of Hungary's border, and it may increase further due to the winter and the conflict in the Middle East, the leader of the Fidesz parliamentary faction stated at his press conference at the Ásotthalm border crossing on Thursday, Magyar Nemzet reports .

Máté Kocsis pointed out: as migration pressure increases, so does the risk of terrorism, and human trafficking has become the most profitable business on the migration routes.

According to the faction leader, the income from this can be used for terrorist financing, and the migration routes can also be used for arms smuggling by members of terrorist organizations. Máté Kocsis then spoke about a report prepared by the national security services.

– In their report to the National Security Committee, the secret services write about facts and serious consequences resulting from migration, which every Hungarian should know.

It is necessary to see what terrorist risks threaten the country and the entire continent, he said. Máté Kocsis is therefore initiating a report to be made public.

This could happen as early as next week. Máté Kocsis also talked about how

the safety of those working in border protection is in real danger, and it is the primary responsibility of the Parliament and the government to protect its citizens.

The parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of the Interior also participated in the press conference. Bence Rétvári said that the networks that organize human trafficking are becoming more and more organized and confident. "The fact that they get a huge income obviously helps them in this," added Bence Rétvári. It was also said that the amount paid to people smugglers can be between five and ten thousand euros. And if this is the case, then human traffickers have already earned more than one billion euros this year. However, according to Bence Rétvári, the real numbers may be significantly higher than this, as there is no information on all illegal border crossings.

The state secretary also said that the more money that ends up in human trafficking networks, the more organized they are and the more they try to circumvent the already lax regulations of the European Union. Besides, he thinks

they want to settle the migrant ghettos here, that is, on the southern border section of Hungary.

"However, we will not allow this, we will protect the borders," declared Bence Rétvári.

Zoltán Sas, the chairman of the National Security Committee, who also participated in the press conference, said about the said report that the committee will meet on Monday, and then they can decide on Máté Kocsis' nomination.
