The report of the intelligence services on the connections between migration and terrorism is now public: it is clear what a risk the irresponsible migration policy of Brussels poses to the security of Europe, announced the leader of the Fidesz faction.

Máté Kocsis reminded in his latest Facebook post that known terrorist organizations such as ISIS, al-Qaeda and Hamas are already present on the Serbian-Hungarian border.

He pointed out that more and more information about terrorist acts aimed at Europe is being generated in the region.

Máté Kocsis emphasized that the Taliban are already present in Vojvodina, and many people smugglers are related to Afghan Taliban government leaders and members of the Haqqani terrorist group linked to them. He also pointed out that he had placed the activities of Afghan people smugglers under the direct control of the Taliban intelligence service.

The leader of the Fidesz faction also reminded that acts of violence and the use of weapons at the border have become regular.

"We must act against terrorism by all means! The Union must support Hungarian border protection! We need a new migration policy in Brussels!" Máté Kocsis concluded his post, sharing the link to the secret service report .

The report shows that violence is increasing in the border area, and this is putting the personnel on duty to the test.

In addition, the document reports that the protection of Hungary and Europe against illegal migration is provided by the legislation, the personnel serving on the southern border, and the security border closure. Recent trends and information from law enforcement and national security agencies show that all three elements of the defense line are under increasing pressure. Regarding the legal pillar, the migration pact of the EU poses a risk.

The increase in migration pressure is reflected in the increase in the number of returnees.

According to the report, in terms of internal security – as an effect of the war between Israel and Hamas – the risk of terrorism, which has increased proportionately with migration pressure, poses an increased risk. The routes of illegal migration (including the Western Balkans passing through Hungary) can be used by terrorist networks.

The document also mentions that competition and violence are increasing among human trafficking gangs with an Afghan background in Serbia. The Taliban secret service placed the management of the activities of the human trafficking groups of Afghan origin operating in Vojvodina under direct control.

According to the secret services, approximately 1,000-1,200 illegal border violations are detected on the Serbian-Hungarian border section every night. In August, there was a case where 293 illegal crossings were detected at one point of the border lock within one hour. Based on the data of the National Police Headquarters, in the 40th week, the number of illegal migrants apprehended and then escorted back set a record of 5,606.

The report assesses that the human trafficking business is characterized by a constantly expanding market and structural improvement.

Some of the revenues can be used for terrorist financing purposes, and the means and weapons procurement channels are also suitable for promoting terrorist activities.

Criminal organizations immediately identify and exploit the weak points that appear during the frequent changes in international and state migration policies. The EU's migration pact would fundamentally change Hungarian defense practices.

The nature of Hungary's transit has not changed, because the country does not have a large, separate, culturally and linguistically identical diaspora capable of accommodating migrants.

In the short term, Hungary is not threatened by the formation of closed social groups, however, in the longer term, it must be expected that the saturation of the target countries may affect the peripheral countries as well, which may fundamentally change the country's public safety situation.

The report highlights: violence is increasing in the border area, which puts the staff on duty to the test. Using the monopoly of state violence could provide an answer to these challenges, but this would probably lead to an increase in violence on the part of organized crime as well.

For the time being, the pace of migration movements is in the "end of season boom": more and more people are trying to reach the destination country before winter sets in, and the authorities of the Balkan transit states are interested in ensuring that as few migrants as possible remain in their jurisdiction.
