An Arab man harassed his fellow passengers on a Ryanair flight with astonishing statements, yet the authorities did not see the completely obvious racism in the case.

The man who previously insulted women on several flights and came to the attention of the authorities mainly because of his racist and anti-woman outbursts has started his 14-month prison sentence, the Daily Mail wrote.

The first incident occurred on July 15, 2019, when Riaz began drinking on board a Ryanair Boeing 737 flight from Morocco to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

According to the concerned flight attendant, Jelena Zuravska, the trouble started when the visibly drunk Mohammed Shiraz Riaz demanded one more drink, but she decided not to give him more alcohol. Riaz then lost his temper and started insulting the woman, calling her a "bloody white bitch" several times.

He was getting more and more aggressive with me and yelling loudly, so other passengers intervened to try to restrain him, Zuravska said.

After the incident, the man was taken into custody, and he also bit a policeman, leaving teeth marks on his arm. It emerged that Riaz was from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, and had 30 alcohol-related offenses on his record, including assaults on police officers and drunken harassment. In 2019, for example, he was convicted of vandalism after smashing the furnishings of a caravan and two hotel rooms.

Riaz was jailed for 14 months after admitting traveling drunk on a plane, punching an emergency worker and making four threats.

The most hair-raising scene happened when he screamed on the plane during production that "white kids are easy to rape."

Despite what happened, no racist charges were brought against Riaz.
