On November 4, let the bells ring so that it can be clearly heard everywhere in Europe. Make noise, because sixty-seven years ago on this day, the dream of those fighting for a normal world was shattered. Let them roar for the fallen, the executed, those sentenced to prison terms, for the spiritual wounds of society, for the young people who died needlessly on both sides of the barricades.
And let them roar all over Europe, because of the increasingly crazy events of our time, because of the real and imagined barricades still erected today, where mothers' sons and children's fathers die senselessly. After all, it is not ideas, financial interests, or desires for power that are destroyed in the battles, but people. So let these be the wake-up calls on our continent, where our culture and past are zeroed out, where moral human values are objects of ridicule, and where our faith is buried under the stones of our destroyed churches.
Because what does the 21st century look like? Europe in the second decade of the century?
The former empire is dying, while a handful of political-military-economic elites are getting richer day by day. In the last ten years, the foreign culture and customary law, which has been flowing here and is getting stronger, has begun an intense awakening. With visible confidence, they trample on the existing legal order and identity of Europe.
Make no mistake, you cannot write all this at the expense of those who come here, lamenting the loss of our normal life.
The story begins with what we, European citizens, do and how we relate to our own lives, how do we manage the values we received from our ancestors? What do we mean by tolerance, and why do we give up all elements of natural self-defense?
Nowadays, the voices of the spiritual terrorists called the greens are louder than the whispers of the majority who are only ready to smile at them. If it remains like this, we will experience the forewind of our losing battles, as we experience war not only at the level of rhetoric. There are places where weapons collide, but in most regions only news ready to influence collide, which is often more painful and of greater value, because our enemies use this to achieve their goals, the destruction of normal life. How could we interpret the examples that we encounter every day across Europe in a different way?
In a factory in one of Germany's cities, workers' wages are reduced if it turns out that they ate meat before starting work or came to work by car, saying that this increased carbon dioxide emissions (!).
I wonder what does it represent on the altar of public safety, that in Spain the police are involved in a street fight with firefighters, when the fire protection guards asked their employer, the state, for a salary increase? The Frankish fire knights do not want to understand and accept that the supply of the illegal influx of people - since they rarely take up work - eats up the part of the Spanish budget that was previously earmarked for wage improvement.
But can the governments of Europe's countries do anything but bow to the chaos caused by migration?
An example of this is Denmark, where the "refugees" demand - they don't ask! – to introduce the basic principles of the Koran into the Danish constitution. How the statement of the American defense company – arms manufacturers use this adjective for themselves – speaks for itself, referring to the Ukrainian-Russian and Israeli-Palestinian bloodshed:
"These are good opportunities that fit the company's profile quite well."
This was announced at a limited meeting.
So, ring your bells! As for us, people in Europe and around the world, let's say no to life situations that are dramatic and, of course, often seem like forced farces, but very much cause disaster. The first step is to arrange our own rows. Because we know that Ukrainian people have no problem with Russian people. As Israeli Jewry can coexist with its Palestinian and other Arab neighbors, as it has done so far. Coexistence, which is a guarantee of peace, is still the only alternative, since
the conflicts that flare up from time to time do not arise out of natural objectivity, but because of reasons stimulated by political interests.
Our everyday lives, wherever we live, are nourished by the normality of interdependence. In this way, they guarantee the functioning of societies. A teacher teaches and does not try to heal instead of a doctor. The goods left on the shelves of the shops are produced and manufactured by others so that others can buy them with the money earned by their work. At the end of his shift, the restaurant waiter goes to a movie theater with his partner to enjoy the performances of the actors. Where is the insurmountable antagonism, the compulsion to clash words or even weapons?
The question often arises as to whether today's political elite prefers to consolidate or confront? Is the goal life or death?
On November 4, 1956, the bells remained silent, as the streets became silent, the witnesses of previous clashes. People also accepted silence out of anger, fear, and a historical mistake. No one really won, because in addition to their victims, all members of society became vulnerable to the power for a long time. The bells must be ringing now for the reparations that were missed then and for the historical mistakes that are re-emerging in the present. Out loud for everyone to hear. Louder so that everyone can truly understand, to serve any ideological narrative. Just as then, today, a hard-to-see but dwarfed interest group wants us to approve their crazier than crazier plans with our silence. Among the methods they forced upon us, the most inhumane is the human-destroying existence of new and new local wars that are repeated in our century.
The societies mourning the devastation must remember the Hungarian example together with us, and above all the fact that the so-called power then and still is watching with trembling knees what we, the overwhelming majority, are doing.
So the question is: do we choose silence and believe that the realization of their goals that ignore normality is inevitable, or, contrary to the madness, do we simultaneously pull the ropes of the bells everywhere to express our common will with their hum: Until now, and no more!
