As we previously reported , István Pásztor, the president of the Vojvodina Hungarian Association (VMSZ), died.
At the funeral, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, President Aleksandar Vučić, Kelemen Hunor, President of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (RMDSZ) spoke on behalf of Hungarians living abroad, and Bálint Juhász, President of the VMSZ Administrative Committee, on behalf of the party.
The Hungarian Prime Minister also published a Facebook post in which he stated:
István Pásztor showed us the path on which Serbs and Hungarians can move together. We will be true to his legacy. God rest her soul!
