According to unconfirmed information, the Transcarpathian 128th Brigade suffered significant losses as a result of a Russian missile attack: 22 soldiers were killed and at least 60 were wounded.

Zakarpattya 24 reported on this, referring to the report of Ruszlan Kaganec, the commander of the Napocska volunteer battalion, reports the Kárpátalja.ma news portal.

According to the statement, a Russian missile hit the station of the soldiers in Zaporizhzhya county, as a result of which

22 soldiers were killed and at least 60 were wounded.

The soldiers gathered to receive awards on the occasion of Artillery Day. Many Transcarpathian Hungarians serve in the brigade.

Due to the heavy military losses, three days of mourning were announced in Transcarpathia starting Monday.

On the days of mourning starting November 6, state flags are lowered to half-mast in all institutions of the county, a minute's silence is observed every morning at 9 a.m. in memory of the deceased, and services are held in churches, reports MTI.
