UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak sacked Home Secretary Suella Braverman on Monday.

Braverman was a staunch supporter of Israel and did much to protect the British Jewish community from growing anti-Semitism, which is why he has been criticized several times.

The Home Secretary was sacked after he accused the British police in an opinion column in The Times of "selecting out" by being more lenient towards pro-Palestinian left-wing protesters than their right-wing counterparts.

In the article, he compared the pro-Palestinian protests to the Protestant marches in Northern Ireland, which a former Tory cabinet minister called "absolutely offensive" and "ignorant".

His critics accused Braverman of undermining police operational independence and public trust.

Last month, just days after the Hamas massacre in southern Israel, the Home Secretary wrote to police chiefs in England and Wales that the use of Palestinian flags and other pro-Palestinian symbols "may not be legitimate" and may require police intervention after anti-Semitic protesters took to the streets of London. they rejoiced at the news of the massacre committed by Hamas terrorists.
