As we reported , at the end of August crosses were again broken from the crowns on Margit Bridge. The vandals damaged several stone crosses of the Holy Crown on the side towards Pest. Recently, there have been several similar vandalisms, the Nagy-Szénás cross burning near Nagykovácsi in the Pest county stirred up a lot of dust, where the cross on the 550-meter peak was set on fire on St. Stephen's Day.

"It is clear that the vandal of a cross is aware that he is not merely destroying a landmark, but desecrating a symbol." This can in no way be called "average" vandalism, as it is a religious symbol, which is also closely related to the foundations of European and Hungarian culture - János Zila, analyst of the Fundamental Rights Center, told Magyar Nemzet about what happened . At the same time, both the case of August 20 and the vandalism of the crosses on the stone statues depicting the Holy Crown on the Margaret Bridge imply that the vandals may for some reason be pained by the fact that the Hungarian state was built on a Christian foundation, and this cornerstone - the rebelling against the pressure of the western left-liberal mainstream - he does not want to throw it aside even today.

What kind of punishment would you inflict on those who damage our national symbol, the cross of the Holy Crown?
