Boglárka Kapás, world and European champion swimmer, will end her career next summer at the Paris Olympics.

The 30-year-old Hungarian competitor told M1 that he feels he has come out of the hole he was in after the Tokyo Olympics, and that the World Cup series and the short-track national championship gave him confidence, and he found the right path mentally.

"Training is getting better and better, I'm in good shape, now I feel like I can go all the way to Paris"

- said the bronze medalist swimmer at the 2016 Rio Games.

Kapás wants to meet the Olympic level time in his main event at the competition in Győr between December 13th and 16th. He added that he really wants to start in the latter number as well, because it would be a good warm-up for him at the Olympics.

"I see the Paris Olympics as the end of my career, after that I would swim for a maximum of one more year, but not at the same level as now"

Boglárka Kapás declared.
