The Religious Light Music Program promotes the preservation of the religious traditions of the Carpathian Basin and the wider dissemination of religious light music culture.
This year, 502 individuals and organizations won support in the government's Religious Light Music Program, which aims to raise the national religious light music culture to a higher level, strengthen religious communities and reach out to young people, the Ministry of Culture and Innovation (KIM) announced on Monday.
The government sees the foundation and strengthening of the Christian national identity as a priority task, and for this purpose it created the Religious Light Music Program in 2019, which promotes the preservation of the religious traditions of the Carpathian Basin and the wider dissemination of religious light music culture.
The government announced the program this year with a budget of HUF 350 million. You could apply for equipment, musical instruments and their renovation in four categories: musical instruments for beginners, professionals, Hungarians across the border, and musical instrument renovation.
