Karácsony got out of the way, which is understandable, as this shows his own helplessness even more sharply, the direct consequence of which is the sacking of the capital.
The mayor did not accept with bursting joy the plans according to which the owner of the tower block Burjs Khalifa in Dubai would build huge skyscrapers on Rákosrendező in Budapest. According to him, it's bad enough that the Mol tower is
"it is already there in the beautiful panorama of the Danube".
Mohamed Alabbar, a businessman from the United Arab Emirates and the owner of the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai, applied for the Rákosrendező in Budapest, where, according to his plans, a mini-Dubai would be built, with high-rise buildings, office buildings and luxury apartments.
But in addition, a 220-240 meter high skyscraper would be built, while currently the tallest building in Budapest is the 143 meter high Mol Campus.
Let's take a good look at Heroes Square! Maybe it won't stay like this for long... The government is discussing the creation of a "mini-Dubai" with skyscrapers and luxury apartments on Rákosrendező, which lies behind Hősök tere... I'll keep my head up. Are these crazy!?

"It's bad enough that the Mol tower is already looming over the beautiful Danube panorama, but this monster would be almost twice as big, barely a stone's throw away from Hősök Square. The mind stops"
Gergely Karácsony concluded his post.
