A hopeful coup is coming in European politics.

The migrants celebrating the bloodshed and the unconditional support of Ukraine may be the last straw: huge changes may follow in European politics, and Viktor Orbán may be the standard-bearer of the new right, according to an American strategist.

The surprising victory of Geert Wilders in the Dutch elections is a harbinger of a coup in European politics, writes David P. Goldman based on the review of Hlavné sparva.

The American strategist believes that this has been in the making for a long time, but it was triggered by two significant events:

one is the mass celebration of Muslim migrants after the bloodshed of Hamas, the other is that the European population is less and less supportive of the arming and financial aid of Ukraine.

Goldman argues that Europe's right-wing parties, long portrayed as extremist scum, have now become the last bastions of Western conventional wisdom. According to him, Viktor Orbán will be the standard-bearer of the new European right.
