The House of Hungarian Goldsmiths opened on Sunday afternoon in Hollókő. The facility was created by the goldsmith Balázs Érsek in order to show the beauties of the goldsmith's profession to those interested, and in the workshop children cared for by the Szent Ferenc Foundation will be able to learn the profession. The house was blessed by Csaba Böjte.
Goldsmith Balázs Érsek greeted those present at the event. In his speech, he said that his big dream had come true by being able to open the House of Hungarian Jewelers in Hollókő. He also explained that an exhibition of the works of Hungarian goldsmiths was opened on the upper level of the building, as they would also like to introduce the profession to those interested. True to the promise made to Csaba Böjte, a goldsmith's workshop will be created on the lower floor, where children cared for by the Saint Francis Foundation will be able to learn the art of goldsmithing. Later, a workshop will also be created in Transylvania so that children can learn the trade locally. In the "breathing" yard, visitors will be able to learn about various handicrafts, such as wood carving, and they can also participate in community programs in the spirit of Christian folk culture.
Csaba Szabó, the mayor of the settlement, also took part in the opening ceremony, and in his greeting, in addition to Hollókő's heritage, he drew the attention of those present to the fact that the goldsmith's memorabilia discovered in the fortress will also be exhibited at the soon-to-open exhibition in Hollókő Castle.
- I am confident that the Hungarian Jewelers' House will be a very nice point of the settlement and many people will visit it - said Csaba Szabó, and then handed over the flag of the settlement to Balázs Érsek as a gift.
After that, Franciscan monk Csaba Böjte, the dreamer of the Saint Francis of Dévai Foundation, shared his thoughts with those present. He talks about being masters of the profession we have chosen. As he said, he actually always admired those who do their profession with quality and beauty.
- I see that this poetry is starting to disappear from today's world, because poetry can not only be written on paper with a pencil, but I think that poetry, beauty, beauty, human with a miracle. The Heavenly Father, when he created the world, sat down and admired it. The joy of delight is wonder. May God grant that this does not fall out of us - said Csaba Böjte, who together with those present said a prayer for the house and the people.
Peace to this house and those who live in it. Lord God, your name can sanctify everything. Give your bountiful blessing to this house. For the people who work, meet and talk in it and especially for those who come here to learn and become more valuable in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
- said Csaba Böjte, who finally blessed the House of Hungarian Jewelers.
Goldsmiths Dániel Nagy and Brigitta Horváth spoke about the profession at the opening ceremony, and woodcarver Béla Mónus also spoke about his role in the House of Hungarian Goldsmiths. In addition, the participants could see a copy of the Hungarian Holy Crown, about which its maker, master goldsmith Attila Rónai, told the audience. At the end of the event, the participants could see an open exhibition of goldsmiths' creations.
