On the weekend of November 24-25, the IV of the European Union Civil Cooperation Council was held. conference organized by CÖF-CÖKA. The mission of EuCET is to preserve Europe's Judeo-Christian cultural heritage, to nurture its traditions, to protect the sovereignty of nation-states, and to increase the effectiveness of civic initiatives. The present conference represented the principle of the sovereignty of the people, it is organized from below, representatives of associations and foundations of 19 countries spoke with a serious message to the European Union. Its goal, as announced in the title of the event, is a compass for Europe, that is, to put a compass in the hands of the citizens of the European Union so that they can make a deliberate decision in the 2024 EU elections.

After learning the opinions of the speakers at the Budapest meeting and the participants in the panel discussions, it cannot be hidden that Europe is in big trouble. Almost all of the states that make up the Union struggle with the problems caused by illegal migration, the aggressive manifestations of gender ideology, and the fact that our continent is separated from Christian ideals and norms. Therefore, one of the important tasks of the conference was the search for the path that could lead back to normality, respect for the nation and the family.

The participants cited the Hungarian example as hope, pointing out that our country can serve as a model for Europeans with a Christian-conservative commitment. If the continent wants to survive, it must rediscover its Judeo-Christian roots, return to its basic values. The example of the Hungarian road can give strength and hope for this, even if the so-called "progressive", i.e. neoliberal, neo-Marxist side seems to have gained the upper hand.

Even with its creation, the two-day conference exemplified how a civil society that can unite for the same goals can achieve the set goal. It also proved that conservative ideas are not only held by the older generation, there were many young activists and civil leaders among the participants and speakers, which means that the new civil generation is waking up and they want to work for normalcy not by passive acquiescence, but by active action. in order to restore it.
