In recognition of public service activities and exemplary professional work, the professional awards founded by Duna Médiaszolgáltat Nonprofit Zrt. were presented in ten categories on Friday evening in Budapest.

At the awards ceremony, the Duna Award for outstanding professional work and community service was awarded by the board of trustees to one of Hungary's largest, internationally recognized charitable organizations, the Ecumenical Aid Organization. The award was received by László Lehel, the president and director of the organization.

The Karinthy ring was given to Gábor Reviczky, artist of the nation, Kossuth and Jászai Mari prize-winner.

The actor, recognized this year with the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Hungarian Motion Picture Festival, has created memorable works over the decades in many Hungarian and world literature stage works, as well as in countless films and TV shows, and has also lent his voice to world stars - emphasized Anita Altorjai, CEO of Duna Médiaszolgáltat Nonprofit Zrt., at the presentation of the award.

He said that in addition to theater roles, Gábor Reviczky also played in almost all Hungarian film comedies of the 1990s and 2000s.
