Tributes are pouring in for the actor, who joined the Ukrainian army at the beginning of the Russian attack.

Ukrainian actor Vasyl Kuharsky died on Thursday, nearly three months after he was seriously injured at the front. He was 42 years old.

Kyiv-based Podil Theater announced on Facebook.

Kuharsky reportedly joined the Ukrainian armed forces shortly after the Russian invasion began in February 2022, and in September suffered injuries that would later cost him his life.
