The Prime Minister will hold his customary year-end international press conference on Thursday.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will hold his end-of-the-year international press conference at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Karmelita monastery, Index .
The paper added that it is the Prime Minister's traditional year-end press conference
a special event for several reasons.
On the one hand, because, unlike the Government Information held by Prime Minister Gergely Gulyás and Government Spokesperson Alexandra Szentkirályi, which is customary during the year, representatives of the media can ask their questions directly to the Prime Minister, for several hours.
On the other hand, because before the questions
the prime minister also gives a speech,
in which they cover the most important events of the past year and take into account the plans and ideas of the Hungarian government for the next year, they added.
Expected topics
As written, the end-of-the-year Government Information will certainly cover such important and current topics as the Russian-Ukrainian war, the issue of Ukraine's accession to the EU, and Hungary's relationship with Brussels. But we can expect that Hungarian foreign relations and the forecast of the rate of inflation for next year will also be discussed.
