More than three million forints were collected by family and non-governmental organizations at their Advent charity fundraiser, the entire amount is intended to cover the costs of the clown doctors' festive visits to 15 hospitals, the Club of Young Families (Ficsak) announced.

They wrote that Ficsak, together with around 30 family and non-governmental organizations and companies, will use the amount to help sick children who are still in hospital at Christmas.

They said that the holiday visits of the clown doctors give the children laughter, fun and strength.

According to information

around 200 donors supported the collection with HUF 3,069,220.

This year, the wife of the former president János Áder, Anita Herczegh, and her daughter, Júlia Áder, helped the cause again this year.

The campaign's fundraising events, Christmas fairs, concerts, and donations from public figures also contributed greatly to the success, reads Ficsak's announcement.
