According to the announcement, Krisztina Tóth, social responsibility director of the Mészáros Group, said in connection with the fourth quarter tender evaluations:

"although the proverb that you give twice is true at all times, those who give quickly have a special weight this year, as the year 2023 has particularly affected needy and distressed families.

That's why we decided to make the already stressful end of the year easier for families with quick help. Compared to last year, our foundation received 700 more applications, around 2,900, the value of which exceeded HUF 17.5 billion. This exceeds the requests received last year by HUF three billion. This indicates to us that we have won the trust of organizations that help and want to do something, as well as individuals in trouble. With our activities, we are not only promoting the domestic civil sphere in a financial way: already this year, it can be observed that there are more and more well-thought-out, planned applications that also take sustainability aspects into account, which on the one hand gives us, the donors, more responsibility, and on the other hand, encourages awareness among the those intending to implement different programs. We must also point out that this year, there were many more legitimate requests than the 228 applications that we supported with a total of HUF one billion. This also encourages us to use the resources available to us as efficiently as possible, which are provided to us by the companies of the Mészáros Group", emphasized Krisztina Tóth, who is also the general secretary of the Pro Filii Foundation.

The result of the board of trustees' decision on the application materials received in the fourth quarter of 2023 can be read on the www.profilii.hu website, the announcement states.
