Here are the DK leader's New Year's resolutions.
Ferenc Gyurcsány, the president of DK, said goodbye to the year 2023 with a short video on his social media page. As he said, the last days of the year are about reckoning, but at the same time, they are also about next year's resolutions.
Looking into the future, Gyurcsány stated that he must think about what the Democratic Coalition will do in 2024.
"We continue to pursue the policy we believe in.
We believe that a decent social democratic policy will be better for Hungary."
He went on to say that they will work to have more voters, more than the 1.1 million they have today. Also, to increase their membership. As it turned out, there are 17,000 members of the DK nationally.
Then he covered the EP and local authority elections. In this connection, he stated that he would like to have even greater representation in Brussels and to be able to give even more mayors and representatives to Hungarian public life.
He also promised that they will continue to argue and debate in the National Assembly in 2024, and they will also go to the countryside.
Finally, he noted that in order for DK to be able to fulfill the above promises, it needs as many people as possible to apply to be activists.
As before, in 2024 we can only succeed with you"
Ferenc Gyurcsány wrote in the accompanying text of the video.
