DK's Nemes László has circled the Earth along the equator several times since he took office - Adataradar . They found that the deputy mayor of Pesterzsébet spent almost HUF 2.6 million on fuel from public funds since the fall of 2019.

According to an article in the Magyar Hírlap, László Nemes, deputy mayor of Pesterzsébet DK, refueled and bought lubricants for at least HUF 2,598,741 from October 2019 to July 2022 based on the invoices presented at the request of dataRADAR. The politician uses a diesel Skoda Octavia, and according to catalogs and specialist portals, the average consumption of such a car is 5-6 liters per 100 kilometers.

Based on this, they calculated that since the local government election, the deputy mayor has circled the Earth about three times, if not more, since the price of diesel fuel was "relatively low" until the outbreak of the war. They note that the invoices sent to their data request are sometimes untraceable, so - according to their calculations - the above-mentioned amount could be HUF 900,000 higher.

The XX. According to the district clerk, the Gyurcsány party noble may have used four fuel cards since taking office.

One of these was one that was not issued for a license plate, in Hungarian it could be used by anyone with any car at the issuer's fuel stations. This was in the summer of 2020 with the deputy mayor, and this period is called the most problematic in the article.

They say that it is possible that "happy-unhappy" could have refueled with his card, because they draw attention to the fact that in a previous request for data, they already wrote that the deputy mayor's taxi card was regularly used by his wife and daughter.

In addition, according to their information, one of the editors of the municipality's website also traveled with him, as well as some unknown women.

They note that the politician did not save taxpayers' money when using his license plate cards either. For example, in September 2020, he used more than HUF 110,000 and in October almost HUF 120,000, and in August of last year he also ran up a bill exceeding HUF 110,000.

According to the anonymous author of the article, the question arises after this, if the politician really sits behind the wheel for so long, when will he have time for work?
