Regarding whether he would consider it appropriate, former State Secretary for Transport Dávid Vitézy explained to the mayor of Budapest that
he considers himself a proven and good specialist in the field of transport, but managing Budapest is a much more complicated task.
István Tarlós emphasized that "willingly or unwittingly, the current mayor is a part of big politics, which does not only consist of transport". In connection with the capital-state dispute, he revealed that the current mayor has decided on an unfortunate tactic. According to him, there is no such thing as
one day he wants to sprinkle salt on the government's place, the next day he extends his hand so that we can be more friends and give you some money".
He emphasized: the possibility of cooperation with the government should not be eliminated. According to him, he also had disputes with the prime minister on various issues, but in the end they always found a solution.
