On the eve of the demonstration in Warsaw on January 11, 2024, the CÖF-CÖKA held an extraordinary press conference in the Hungarian capital, declaring that it stands in solidarity with the Polish civilians demonstrating in defense of Polish democracy. At the Bem statue, three prominent representatives of the Civil Solidarity Forum expressed their opinion on the threat to Polish statehood and democracy. We highlight the ideas of solidarity from the speeches of the speakers.

László Csizmadia, founding president of CÖF-CÖKA:

The parliamentary elections in Poland shed light on what happens when ultra-liberal and internationalist, Marxist views are revived. Donald Tusk, the Soros-NGOs and the Brussels bureaucrats worked together to achieve that, although the Law and Justice party, the PIS, won 5% more votes than the so-called civil coalition, i.e. the PO party, Tusk's rainbow a coalition can govern.

The expected uncertain governance is ensured by the joining parties - still in the running category - who, without consulting their voters, threw aside their previously voiced idealism and started ganging up with the PO.

The Tusk government was eager to devour real democracy and Polish Christian traditions.

The majority of the deeply Christian Polish population will never forget what St. II said. Pope John Paul: Do not be afraid! We are certain that our Polish brothers and sisters will vigilantly and courageously protect the interests of their country and their families.

Almost 500 civil clubs of Gazeta Polska operating in several countries of the world follow the Christian-national-conservative ideology. Our more than 10-year strategic cooperation contract obliges CÖF-CÖKA to show comradely solidarity.

In Poland, the coup-like attack on civil courage and public television means that the campaign against the rule of law and democracy has begun. On the other hand, preserving the freedom of speech and expression of opinion is a task that precedes everything.

Darkness seems to be falling on Polish democracy. With our Polish friends here, at the Bem statue, hand in hand, we have always stood up for the previous idealism of God, home, family. Our young people symbolize civil courage with the light of torches. We stand in solidarity with our Christian-national-conservative Polish comrades. The expression of speech and opinion cannot be taken away from us with dark intentions or in a sneaky way.

We will be there in spirit at the assembly in front of the Sejm starting at 4 p.m. on January 11.

Jr. dr. Constitutional lawyer Zoltán Lomnici, CÖF spokesperson, also discussed the legal aspects of what happened:

The Polish constitution clearly states the freedom of speech, the right to information, and the protection of the public interest of radio and television, as well as the institutional obligation to protect all of these (Article 213 of the constitution refers to the National Radio and Television Council here). IX of the Polish Constitution. state bodies should ensure the protection of these rights, not liquidate them.

The replacement of the entire management of the public media is specifically covered by Article 54 (2) of the Polish Constitution, which states that "preventive censorship of means of social communication is prohibited" and the authorization of the press in this way, namely the censorship efforts, as well as the legal certainty, i.e. the individual public service damage to the predictable functioning of institutions also arises in connection with such drastic political actions without any transition.

Political scientist Tamás Fricz, CÖF curator:

I am speaking to those who are now in opposition in Poland, I am speaking to those who still persistently believe in the nation, Christianity and the sanctity of the family, which is based on the marriage of a man and a woman. We are with you now, in these days and weeks, when we see that a liberal government has come to power in your country, which wants to break with everything that was sacred and inviolable to you, and that is also sacred and inviolable to us, national and Christian Hungarians.

We are united in our faith, we are united in our goals, we are united in our values. This doesn't stop us, we remain in the government and you fight to defend our common values by joining the opposition....You hold a huge demonstration in defense of these values, in order to preserve the true face of Poland, and we are with you in spirit at this demonstration.

After the election results and Donald Tusk coming to power, it was proven what the anti-national, globalist left-liberal side is capable of. First of all, to illegally and unconstitutionally kick out all institutions that have been functioning until now. The series of violent personality changes carried out in the Polish public media, and most recently the arrest of the former Polish Minister of the Interior and his deputy, have shown that there are no legal or moral limits for the left-liberals when they seize power. They don't just threaten, they make good on their threats.

We, conservatives and sovereignists, are never and were never able to do this when we took over power from them, we never carpet-bombed the leaders of existing and functioning institutions in a symbolic sense, even when it was really necessary, for example the regime change in both Hungary and Poland in the post-war period.

That is why the first big lesson of what is happening in Poland is that, if the left-liberal side comes to power, they will not just carry out a change of government that is usual in a democracy, but they want much more than that: if they come to power, they will trample democracy into the mud, illegally and they are carrying out a kind of regime change against the constitution, moreover they want to create an anti-Christian, extremely liberal, globalist world.

I note here that this is exactly what they were preparing for in the parliamentary elections in Hungary in 2022. During the election campaign, their leader, Ferenc Gyurcsány, said several times that there will be no mercy for the conservative politicians, nor their court, nor their intellectuals, nor their followers. Also, their lawyers talked about how, once in power, even if they don't have two-thirds, they will change the existing constitution, the Basic Law, illegally, with a simple parliamentary majority.

Well, what the Tusk government did in the media shows that

here it is not a change of government, but an anti-democratic regime change, during which Poland's most important values are destroyed, including the fundamental fact that the Christian faith and commitment of our Polish friends is a true Polish tradition. The appearance of the rainbow flag on public television says everything about what to expect from this new government. System change, system destruction and value system destruction. This must not be allowed, it must be fought against within the framework of democracy!

Finally, the most amazing lesson is that the left-liberal, globalist Tusk government came to power with clearly visible foreign aid, and the network connected to György Soros and his son played a prominent role in this, with its NGOs, organizations, embedded people, sensationalist press, internet and with other media outlets, with which they influenced people's mood to a far-reaching extent and thus had a say in the final results of the Polish elections. We also experienced this last year in Hungary, in both countries the left-liberal, globalist side wanted to come to power with external help, thus in a morally treasonous way.

...I am extremely sorry that this time the 2022 Budapest fast did not arrive in Warsaw in 2023, it was not possible to protect the government that serves the real interests and values of the Polish people, and those who want to twist Poland from its corners in the worst possible direction grabbed power. .

We wish our Polish friends strength and endurance for the fight that is now coming, and will lead the national and Christian forces to victory, perhaps even four years earlier!

God save Poland!
