A video recently surfaced on social media showing a little girl in the arms of a statue of Jesus. This is a moment worth watching over and over again!
According to the post, a little girl named Rose approaches the statue of Jesus, who is depicted crouching down — the perfect height for small children.
As she snuggles up to him, holds his hand and looks into his eyes, it is clear that she really knows Jesus. It seems that she not only trusts that she can reach Him, but also feels that this love is reciprocated.
As we read in Matthew 19:14, Jesus said:
"Leave the children alone, don't stop them, let them come to me, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven!"
Such simple and beautiful scenes encourage us to sometimes dare to live our faith and our love for Jesus just like a little child, instead of a lot of adult reasoning. When there are no questions, only faith and trust that His love is unconditional.
