ELTE student Petra Szafián beat nine finalists in the competition announced for the first time by DUE Media Network and MBH Bank, the financial institution announced on Wednesday.

According to their announcement, young people between the ages of 18 and 26 with a legal relationship in higher education could join the three-round online competition, but anyone could take the test.

13,000 people participated in the first online round, 1,000 of them made it to the semi-finals, and then the ten most successful students could compete in the finals.

Petra Szafián, who is studying international management at ELTE and comes from Lukácsháza, has previously won two national financial competitions.

The purpose of the Nagy Diák Banktudós Test, launched in September 2023, is for anyone who wants to test their financial and economic knowledge to be able to do so in a simple, fun way.

The three-round, online, educational competition was open to young people between the ages of 18 and 26 with a legal relationship in higher education, but anyone could take the test. Between September and December, more than thirteen thousand students participated in the game. After the first round, the online semi-final took place on December 11, to which the best 1,000 students were invited based on their semi-final results. The finals of the competition were held online on December 15, during which the 10 best banking scholars could compare their skills, and the 3 students most knowledgeable in financial matters were eliminated.
