With another increase in wages at this rate, the average salary of professional nurses will be HUF 715,000, according to Thursday's Government Information.
As of March 1, the basic salaries of professional nurses will increase by an average of twenty percent, said Gergely Gulyás, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office.
The head of the department reminded: the government, based on European practice, decided earlier to determine the salaries of specialist nurses at 37 percent of doctors' salaries.
To achieve this, a further 20 percent increase is needed, with another increase in wages at this rate, the average salary of professional nurses will be HUF 715,000 from March 1, he explained.
