Within the next two years, wearing a school uniform may become mandatory and all children should learn the French national anthem. But what can really blow the fuse is that you want to regulate how much time children can spend in front of the screen.

French President Emmanuel Macron is trying to breathe new life into his second term in office, which is why he announced, among other things, reforms in education and citizenship. There are many concerns about education in the country, and in view of this, the president peppered his speech with promises to improve the civic responsibility of young people and curb radicalism.

Accordingly, he announced that within the next two years the wearing of school uniforms could become compulsory and all children should learn the French national anthem, "La Marseillaise", and he also outlined his idea that all children should attend a compulsory drama course .

According to him

France will be stronger and more united "when we relearn values, a common culture, respect in the classroom, on the street, on public transport and in shops."

- reported on the press conference held in the Elysée Palace based on Le Monde .

However, the president did not stop there. He stated that he wants to regulate the amount of time young children can spend in front of the screen.

Although it was not clear exactly how all this would be implemented, he said that the government would take measures to this end.

Macron also promised that

he "makes order", which he tries to achieve by better controlling the borders, fighting against uncivilized behavior, doubling the police presence, and fighting against drugs and radical Islam.
