Organized by the Csorna group of the Association of Christian Intellectuals (KÉSZ), the drama entitled The Latest Legends of St. Margaret was presented in Csorna, at the Timaffy László Elementary School of Art. The performers of the play were the actors of KÉSZ from Tatabánya and the students of Szent Margit high school from Tatabánya.
The Árpád princess was canonized in 1943, and her feast day is January 18. With the play The Latest Legends of Saint Margaret, the creators aimed to let the audience learn about Saint Margaret's deeply religious life.
Szent Margit Csorna
The drama presented the legend of a princess who persistently and humbly undertook service and devoted her entire life to the Lord. The members of the amateur theater company were a great success, and those present were enriched by a soul-lifting theater experience. The performance was supported by the city government and the art school. KÉSZ in Csorna will prepare similar programs with an ecumenical spirit in the future.
