The Magyar-Turán Foundation invites you to a joint celebration and commemoration, now for the third time. This year, the Day of the Ancestors will be organized between July 5 and 7, as in previous years, again in Bölön, where everyone can choose from traditional activities, concerts and performances to their liking.

The Day of the Ancestors has been organized in the mother country since 2011, where hundreds of thousands of spectators used to visit the programs. In recent years, the mastermind and main organizer of the renowned event, the Magyar-Turán Foundation, has also addressed Hungarians beyond the borders, so that those who cannot visit Hungary can also be a part of the experience. The southern festival has been organized regularly since 2019, and the one in Transylvania since 2021.

Last year, wartime traditionalists, archers, craftsmen and musicians made the series of events created as a result of the cooperation of more than a hundred traditionalist teams and communities unforgettable.

There were equestrian parades, fairs, exhibitions showing the age of the conquest, and combat and falconry demonstrations. The children had the opportunity to learn about different costumes and crafts, but they could also do archery and horse riding.

This year's Day of Transylvanian Ancestors is organized by the Magyar-Turán Foundation, the Municipality of Bölön and the Turán Székelyföld Tradition Preservation Society, but the organizers will report on the detailed program only later. Those interested can find out about the latest information on their social media pages and their website
