Yesterday, January 25, it was 11 years since the president of the Civil Solidarity Forum (CÖF), László Csizmadia, visited Zalaegerszeg, and he held a press conference at the local FIDESZ office with parliamentarian László Vigh, the president of the constituency. They then took part in a joint discussion, where a large number of interested people showed up. In connection with the event, the CÖF Zalaegerszeg club was founded under the leadership of Károly Léránt. The original goal of the club was to support the civil, Christian-national forces in the 2014 parliamentary and local government elections.
At the time of its establishment, they started with 60 people, and they were waiting for the application of their compatriots in all nations with Christian commitment who profess civic values and who wish to belong to a loose community of friends. Their ars poetica was that if the right-wing, Christian-conservative government demands it, if it needs them, then they will be there. They support the government in its ideas and measures, but at the same time they will also be critical if it serves them….
