The Csángóföld Summer University was reorganized on August 6-10 after a 2-year hiatus due to the epidemic situation. between. The event was organized by the Partium Michiel de Ruyter Scientific Society in Nagyvárad, which has a country house in the village. The organization was carried out in partnership with the Association of Moldavian Csángó Magyars and the Center for Central European Relations of the University of Debrecen.

Many lectures took place, among others Attila Szabó-Bilibók, the main organizer, gave a lecture entitled Modern polymaths. Encouraging those present to become a kind of modern polymath themselves, since it is very difficult to find one's way in today's fast-paced world and information dumping. Therefore, it is important for each individual to gather as much knowledge as possible about everyday life, health, and the affairs of the world.

Attila Kenyeres, on behalf of the Hajdúsági Hallgatókért és Civilekérett Egyesület, gave an intriguing lecture on media manipulation, all of which he presented through the Dracula and "Hungarian" vampire hysteria that took place in the international media.

Katona Mária Magdolna, coming from the National Institute of Culture, gave a detailed presentation on preserving values ​​and passing them on. He presented some good practices and told the history of the hungaricum law, introducing a series of important hungaricums.

Finally, László Hamvas, director of the Center for Central European Relations at the University of Debrecen, gave a presentation on the economic development opportunities based on local values, presenting all of this through a case study, from the idea of ​​the Hajdú-Bihar and Bihar County Kings Road project to its implementation over several years.

The Hunor Archery Association from Balmazújváros provided additional color to the summer university, holding an archery and combat demonstration, but the second archery competition of the summer university also took place, which this time ended with the victory of Károly Szabó.

The evening cultural programs were provided by Levente Vaszi, Anita Vrencsán and local youth from Kostelek, as well as the Zúgató band. At the same time, the students of the Folk Music School run by the Székelykeresztúr Folk Társ Egyesület were also invited to the summer university. As part of the evening program, music and dances from Sóvidék, Udvarhelyszék and Kőrispatak were presented to the great meritorious.

The program of the summer university was enriched by medicinal herb collection, a trip to Kostelek, wine tasting, various workshops and forum discussion.

A special feature of the event is that it is not limited to age groups. Among many other goals, the organizers also place special emphasis on the dialogue between generations, among the more than 50 participants, the youngest was 9 months old, and the oldest was almost 80 years old. The participants mostly came from Transylvania and Hungary, but guests from Transcarpathia also came to the event.
