The government summarized the results of the national consultation, based on these it is clear that the Hungarian people stood up for the sovereignty of our country and the overwhelming majority of them said no to others deciding for us on issues that fundamentally affect our lives - said government spokeswoman Alexandra Szentkirályi in a video published on the government's Facebook page.
He said: based on the questionnaires, more than 98 percent of Hungarians are of the opinion that instead of arms shipments, a ceasefire and peace are needed in our neighborhood. Migrant ghettos must not be created in our country and child protection regulations must be further tightened. In addition, it is necessary to stand up for Hungarian farmers and for the GMO-freeness of Hungarian agriculture, as well as to act more strictly against the acquisition of foreign influence.
The government spokesperson thanked the more than 1,500,000 people who expressed their opinion.
"We will try to enforce the will of the Hungarian people in Brussels and protect the sovereignty of our country," declared Alexandra Szentkirályi.
