The deadline for the announcement of national lists for the April parliamentary election expires today at 4 p.m. The National Election Commission (NVB) has so far registered one party list and 12 nationalities lists.

On April 3, voters can vote on two ballots, one for the candidate of the individual parliamentary constituency; it was possible to announce these candidates until 4 p.m. on Friday.

According to the website of the National Electoral Office, www.valasztas.hu, about three hundred individual electoral district candidates have already been legally registered. The committees have until Monday to check the recommendations of the announced but not yet registered candidates and to register the candidates.

On the other ballot, voters can vote for a national list, which can be a party list or a nationality list. The deadline for the announcement of national party lists and nationalities lists is Saturday 4 p.m.

In the election, the parties that were able to nominate candidates in at least 71 individual constituencies in the capital and 14 counties can present a national party list.

The national lists are registered by the National Election Commission, but one day before the deadline, only one party's list was registered.

In the April election, the national municipalities of nationalities can also present a national list. Voters who have requested to be included in the nationality register with effect for the parliamentary election can also vote on these lists.

In the parliamentary election, the national national self-government could present a list of nationalities if the general assembly decided on this by January 31. In addition, it was necessary to recommend at least one percent of the voters listed as national voters in the list for the list. The General Assembly of the National Roma Municipality was unable to agree on the candidates by the deadline of January 31st, and therefore the municipality cannot prepare a list of nationalities for the parliamentary election on April 3rd. At the NVB, however, the other 12 nationalities have already announced their lists and the board has also registered them.
