German readers would like to see such politicians in their country.

The Hungarian Prime Minister and the Turkish President maintain a close, even friendly relationship. They are united by the fact that they do not shy away from conflicts if they can win something for their countries, Die Welt reported, according to which, although both countries are NATO members, they keep their distance from the West depending on the situation. The author believes that Viktor Orbán is just biding his time, because Hungary alone does not have the political capital to enforce the veto against Sweden, and maybe Ankara could surprise him with the ratification.

"I would be happy if our politicians would learn at least a little from Orbán. It represents Hungarian interests. Should not be?" - write Welt readers, while others believe that countries are blessed with leaders who look after the interests of their own constituents.

According to them, Germany's current politicians are incapable of this.

There are those who note that states must first obviously look at their own aspects, the United States shows this every day, "not only Germany".

Without Viktor Orbán, the third world war would have broken out a long time ago - claims one commentator, while another draws attention to the fact that, while the Hungarian prime minister is striving for the maximum in terms of his possibilities, most European politicians are even giving up their playing cards.

There are, of course, commentators who would exclude Hungary from both the European Union and NATO, and would even tell Hungarian voters that all of this would happen if Viktor Orbán were re-elected. “So you want to restrict free elections in a sovereign country?” asked another reader about the proposal.
